Reasonable tempo with Tres Saphir probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. GROSBEAK (8) recorded his first win when resuming last start over 1800m at Nakayama, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Christophe Lemaire was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Capable of taking the next step. TRES SAPHIR (3) has not appeared since he scored over 1800m at this track on February 16. Lightly raced colt who progressed nicely through the maiden campaign. Big run expected. JUN ASAHI SORA (5) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in a Listed race won by Giovanni over 2000m at Hanshin. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and two minor placings from six starts. Has to be respected. DOLLAR BINA (4) accounted for a maiden field over 1600m at Nakayama last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated.
