Saimon Paulia has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. VASEUX REINE (3) lines up for the first time since January 26. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Expect her to play a major role. SUNSET BRIGHT (4) has not appeared since she finished seventh over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt on February 22. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Comes here with definite claims. KYOEI FREUDE (5) started at $7.70 last time and ran below expectations, finishing tenth and beaten 8 lengths at Nakayama Dirt over 1800m. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. PALMERITA (2) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on 14 December, finishing ninth and beaten 12 lengths over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Goes well here and is among the better hopes.
