THE GREAT ARMADA (12) has raced his way back into some very good form, and he is usually very consistent when fit. He won his last start comfortably at Armidale on a heavy track, and with a rise in class, he gets to carry 6kg less this time. Stick with him. PUZZLE DESIGNER (13) followed up a tough head win at the Warialda picnic meeting with and game second at Warwick 8 days ago, finishing a neck behind the winner. Each way claims again, despite a wide gate. TALANA (11) is heading the right way with his form and will be peaking third up from a spell. He has a good draw and is ready to win at short notice. INVINCIBLE RED (8) needed his first run back from a spell and looked much better at a trial since then. He is certainly good enough on his day, and maybe with the blinkers off for the first time, he can bounce back to his best. Each way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Invincible Red each way.
