Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Toho Galleon, Sadame and Bent to control the tempo. CAVE PEARL (6) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 2.5 lengths away in seventh over 1400m at this track on October 26 which was the only run of that prep. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Nicely placed and sure to go well. ALTOUM (4) followed an unplaced effort first-up two runs back with a third last start over 1600m at Hanshin after being in the firing line on the turn. Riki Takasugi gets the best out of this four-year-old entire. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. SADAME (1) scored when resuming at this track last time out with a head in reserve at the end of 1400m. Has raced three times here and has never missed the frame. Strong winning hope again. OTOKOGI AMPAN (5) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1600m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to make a big impact.
