SIMBINE (9) showed good improvement in his last start over this distance at Turffontein. He showed pace but found one too good on the day. If jumping on level terms, he may be hard to peg back. ARE YOU SURE (4) has been costly to follow to date. She lacked extra late over this distance at Scottsville last time. From her good draw of four, she is one of the leading contenders. CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS (6) returns from a spell and is having her first run for Stuart Ferrie. She is a horse with scope and if suited to this course, she should have improvement to come. BOARDWALK BREEZE (5) is a two-year-old colt on debut from the stable of Paul Lafferty. By Erupt from Minona. Worth watching for any possible betting push.
