Expect a genuine pace with plenty of speed engaged. I AM SUGOI (4) made some good progress last spring and has since changed stables. He is resuming with a couple of quiet trials under his belt, and with the aid of a 2kg claim, he will be hard to hold out fresh up. SNATCHREILLY (11) can't be faulted this prep and was doing his best work late when finishing second at Armidale just over 3 weeks ago. He wouldn't mind some cut in the ground and deserves another winning turn. MEDDLESOME (12) finished a solid sixth in the same race as the second pick when resuming from a spell. He has the blinkers off for the first time, second up, and with some luck, he can figure in the top 3. AUREATE (1) has changed stables after winning her last start at Werribee 4 weeks ago. That is good form for a race like this. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: I Am Sugoi to win.
