Expecting Anga Aves to set a genuine tempo after crossing from wide out. MEISHO YASHIMA (6) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.1 lengths of the winner in third last start over 1800m at Fukushima when resuming after a break. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best form puts him right in this. FANTASMA (16) fought on well to finish second last start over 1800m at Fukushima, beaten a neck. Back in form so expect another forward display. MADEMOISELLE ASK (15) was in the money first up at Chukyo then could only manage eighth last time out over 2000m at Hanshin. Rates highly on the first-up run and is right in the mix. MEINER FISCHIO (8) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 2600m at Fukushima. Can figure in the finish.
