Good tempo expected with Truman Tesoro, Island Peak and Flame Joker rolling forward. TRUMAN TESORO (8) is close to a win after a string of recent placings, the latest when third over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Yet to break through at this trip but has registered three minor placings so no reason he cannot take this out. GRASS BLANCHE (11) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Progressing well and is one of the main contenders. ALNAIR (10) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on 22 February, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Makes plenty of appeal on his best form. AWESOME DARER (15) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten 3 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
