A lack of early speed leaves it open for Chavorio to run them along. ONE ABOVE ALL (1) has won twice on this track in the past, which is a big advantage. He will find this easier than his recent assignments, and from the pole position, with the aid of a 3kg claim, he is the one to beat. CHAVORIO (2) will be peaking third up and is dropping down in class from her last start at Pinjarra. A form reversal is expected. FELLAFROMDOWNUNDER (3) will be resuming from a spell for a new trainer. He was third in a recent trial and is not out of this, especially in a small field. NOVATORIO (4) can mix her form and is very hard to catch. There will be no fitness concerns after having 4 runs back from a spell, and she is another with top 3 claims.
