GOING: F

KENNARDS HIRE PORT HEDLAND HANDICAP 1200m

Track: FAST     Rail: True.

Jackemjames is the probable leader in the small field. JACKEMJAMES (1) ended his last campaign with a hat-trick of wins on this track. He comes to hand quickly and has been tuned up with a recent trial. He has a good record over this trip and will again be among the hardest to beat. HOW PRETTY (7) did not kick on as expected last prep after winning at Albany second up, and has since changed stables. A change of scenery could be all she needs, and her best is good enough to win this. OUR KIWI PRINCESS (4) has been steadily improving in each of her 3 starts back from a spell. She slides down in class, and with 3 wins on the course already, she is ready to put her best hoof forward. STAY WEALTHY (5) raced well on occasion in the bush last year during a spring campaign and will resume with the aid of a 4kg claim. If he doesn't need the run, then he can grab a slice of this. BLAZING PASSION (3) has been racing well on the Esperance circuit and was fourth at her last start there just over 7 weeks ago. Each way claims as well. SUGGESTED PLAY: How Pretty each way.
