Pace strong with Cocobill and Conchiero leading with Lario nearby. MARY ELIZA (11) resumed in the Mornington Guineas, well supported there as a $5 chance and not getting any luck in the straight. She drops in weight with that run under the belt and can improve sharply in a winnable affair. CONCHIERO (4) won two in a row before tackling the Port Adelaide Guineas, pulling up lame when dropping out to finish last. He's won a trial since and if he finds his best he'll take plenty of catching. JENNI'S MEADOW (1) worked home fairly fresh at Flemington over 1400m in a bunched finish. Fitter for that and the rise in trip suits. LARIO (7) was good in a Class 3 at Echuca fresh, finishing third. He'll be fitter and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mary Eliza to win.
