Plenty of pace from Scorpion, Water Legrand and Kafuji Tetragon vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. KAFUJI TETRAGON (15) returns from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 13th over 1200m at Kokura. Should be prominent from the outset. Best form will see her in the finish. NISHINO COGNAC (14) did a great job to score by 3.5 lengths over this course and distance when first-up from a layoff last time out. Stepping up a level this time but on that form he is good enough to cope. REVERENCIA (16) turned in a fair effort at Kokura over 1200m at his last run 12 weeks ago, finishing ninth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Very good fresh performer who can make his presence felt. SCORPION (2) scored over 1000m at this track at his most recent appearance on October 12. Definite top-three chance.
