Should be a strong tempo with plenty of speed engaged. MY BEST SHOT (1) finished strongly to win his fourth straight win here last start when sent out as the hot favourite. He should have no issues with the rise to 2400m and should take a power of beating. LOTUS ISLAND (9) is a winner of her last four starts. She was given a gun ride when winning the Listed East Cape Oaks at Fairview All Weather over 2000m last time. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will love the rise to 2400m. MISTER SPEAKER (4) won a good race over 2000m last time. He jumps from a good draw of three and if seeing out the 2400m, should be finishing in the money. MASTER FORESTER (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at Fairview All Weather when finishing fourth. Going up a level this time but is in the mix.
