Improved nicely third-up when boxing on well for third at Bordertown last start. While wins have been elusive, he rates highly on best figures and is drawn to get the gun run. Big chance. DIDWEWIN (9) hasn’t broken through in a while but has shown solid improvement in his last two starts. Should be hitting her straps fourth-up and gets a key booking in Murtagh. Can give this a big shake. BANGHOLME (1) was well below his best last start but had support in betting and is worth another chance in a race that suits. Expecting a sharp bounce back. GRAFTON AVENUE (10) took a nice step forward second-up and should now be nearing his peak. He’ll be hoping they overdo it in front early, so he can launch late and maybe break a very long drought. SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Pinchbeck.
