Genuine pace with Pivotal Ten taking up the running ahead of Keep Your Cool and Red Hot Nicc. STOLI BOLLI (12) was excellent last start at a distance short of his best, steaming home from the back of the field to place third. Rising sharply to 1200m, he'll be hard to beat. DE BERGERAC (6) has been racing fantastically down the Flemington straight, but The Valley is very different. If he can transfer his form from Flemington to The Valley, he can measure up to the favourite, but otherwise, he might be outpaced. BOSSY NIC (4) drops significantly in grade after contesting the Aurie's Star last time, where he was solid in defeat. PIVOTAL TEN (10) is an interesting runner with a high career peak rating. Watch the market for any significant firm on him. RAIKOKE (11) was an improved runner last start after a run of inconsistency. He can bounce back to the form that saw him win the Zeditave Stakes as a three-year-old. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Stolli Bolli.
