From their good gates Xcessive Force, Performing Diva and Signatories will likely vie for the lead in a keen pace battle. NEIL (5) third up for this and set to peak. Had excuses running sixth at Eagle Farm over 1200m, when the bubble cheeker shifted in the run on July 19. Near side blinker goes on and best figures are good enough to win this. Well drawn and will handle the going. XCESSIVE FORCE (8) underrated Goulburn-trained mare resuming. Ran Sun 'N' Sound to a narrow margin, before going one better when a slick winner over 1200m at Goulburn last March. Not asked to do much in the one easy trial and leading rider booked. Hard to stop from the gate. SIGNATORIES (11) holding his form this campaign and backs-up quickly after being collared late with the 61.5kg when third over 1100m at Dubbo. Massive drop in weight and capable of taking this out. EXIT FEE (2) frustrating gelding just under seven weeks between runs after getting into all sorts of trouble on July 5. Anywhere near his best would beat these. KREON (3) proven fresh performer resuming. Fitted with the one good trial and proven at this level. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,8,11,2.
