Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Tiddy Widdy. Really liked the debut of TYGA TASTE (6) and think he is a big chance to win second-up. The wide gate makes it tricky but Pannell sticks and knows the horse. With luck, he can find a spot with some cover and be powering over the top of them late. MACHINEGUN MIKE (3) is another that likes to concede a start in his races but another with a damaging turn of foot. If the track is suiting run-on horses, he can be right in the finish. The Victorian visitor NICALOHA (4) is an improving type that has put the writing on the wall in recent starts. Again, the wide draw makes things harder but he's an each-way chance. BROADBEACH MISS (8) looks one of the speed influences and will give plenty of cheek in front. She was good last time and must be an each-way chance again. RULED BY THIEVES (5) defied market expectations last time and gets the chance to show it was no fluke. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Tyga Taste each-way.
