Rulesque to find the front in the small field. PUDDIN 'N' PIE (3) was never a factor at Broome over 1435m last time but his best form reads well for this company. Capable of sharp improvement and must be respected. SHOULDER PATCH (1) has struggled to threaten of late but the form around him stacks right up. Should find this a fair bit easier and gains the services of Kyra Yuill. Well placed and looks a strong chance to bounce back. RULESQUE (2) disappointed when well supported at Broome over 1615m but is better than that and can make amends on he quick back-up. WHAT SHOUT (7) is yet to get off the mark but doesn't strike a particularly deep field. Could sneak into the frame with the right run. KING OF THE WOODS (4) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Puddin 'N' Pie gets the nod.
