Moderate pace with Volare taking up the running ahead of Mystic Way and Magnolia Jewel. MAGNOLIA JEWEL (7) is still searching for her first win but did stick on gamely into fifth at Wyong last start. Not as tough this time. This looks a winnable assignment and she should be in the thick of things. THE SIMPLE LIFE (11) exceeded expectations with a solid second here in testing conditions last time. Gets in well with the claim and strips fitter. Among the leading hopes. MYSTIC WAY (9) returned from a spell with a battling third at this track, racing on speed and boxing on. Suited by this company and shapes as a contender. RODEO DEALER (4) found the task too sharp at Newcastle over 900m but should be more effective stepping out in trip. Worth keeping safe third-up. VOLARE (12) also strikes this third-up and could be one to keep in mind for exotic players. SUGGESTED PLAY: Magnolia Jewel gets the nod.
