Nonshalaant and The Wizard King can be prominent. NONSHALAANT (1) has been outside the placings at two runs back from a spell, but the latest was a rapid improvement on the previous start and this looks the perfect race for him at this stage of the preparation. Drawn well and gets in nicely for an apprentice jockey who rides these tracks in northern Victoria particularly well. THE WIZARD KING (6) is a regular in these sort of races and while he struggles to break through he only needs the right run in transit to be there at the finish. ROWDY ANTHEM (4) deserves another chance after the poor run last start because the previous efforts were good and this is no tougher than the race he won earlier in the campaign. WHISKEY AND BEER (5) comes down from Qld, where he improved sharply first-up to second-up. O'REG (9) is another who regularly bobs up in these races and has some recent pieces of form good enough for this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nonshalaant to win.
