Pace looks to be genuine with Astern Magic and The Albion matching motors in advance of Vieri and Style And Grace. MERCHANT DELIGHT (1) got in the deciding stride fresh up at Katherine last week over 100om and won't be bothered by the extra 300m here. He is a talented type who, if this race has not come too soon for him, can win again. STYLE AND GRACE (2) will find this easier than her last couple of starts and will also be at her peak fitness now. She benefits from a 3kg claim and is poised to put her best hoof forward in this. THE ALBION (6) has needed both of his starts back from a spell and will be hoping to settle a touch closer to the early pace from a slightly better gate. Jarrod Todd sticks with him, and so do we. PEERLESS LAD (3) drops back in trip after struggling over 2050m in a tougher field here nearly 3 weeks ago. He has the pole position and is well worth including in all combinations. VIERI (4) will find this much easier than his last 2 starts, and he was close to winning a race before those efforts. The blinkers are back on, and a return to form is likely. Each way.
