Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 2400m at Tokyo. Looks a winning chance. EMPEROR'S SWORD (8) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the turn at Tokyo, finishing fifth and beaten 2 lengths starting at $4. Worth noting Akira Sugawara goes aboard. Likely improver with strong prospects. SHANKS (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1600m at this track, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Faces an easier assignment so he is perfectly placed to score. AURORA CIEL (5) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1800m at Kokura, beaten a neck. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.
