The presence of a few first starters will keep Rising Star honest. QUANTUM LEGEND (5) has looked good at the trials, winning the most recent of those on this track earlier in the month. He cops a wide gate, but is still the one to beat. CURZON PARK (1) showed talent as an early-season juvenile and resumes from a spell for a new stable. He has had a quiet trial and is more than capable of making his presence felt in this. DASHING (3) won a trial here earlier in the month and has a handy gate as an advantage. He is in good hands and is sure to have some admirers on debut. MAGIC CARPET (7) will improve on whatever he does here, but is trained by Stephen Marsh, and will be ready to rumble on debut. Don't risk him. SUGGESTED PLAY: The market will be an important guide, but Quantum Legend can take this out.
