Small field but a good tempo is expected with Aaron Imeru, Mission Loose and Hamilton pressing on. RISEE NOIR (2) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 17 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1700m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. HAMILTON (1) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the corner over 1700m at Hakodate Dirt, an improvement on his ninth at Hakodate Dirt the run before. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. LORD SKYBLUE (5) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1700m at Hakodate Dirt, scoring by 7 lengths. Re-unites with Kazuo Yokoyama who was on board last start. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. AARON IMERU (7) hasn't been able to break through for over a year, the latest finishing second over 1700m at this track. Should be prominent from the outset. Should give backers a sight.
