FIERCE FLIGHT (1) was beaten in a handy field on the flat last time out, after finishing runner-up in a couple of hurdle starts before that. He is nicely placed in this and should be the one to beat. TAKE ON (5) was worried out of a win in an amateur riders' race at Riccarton on the poly track last start, finishing runner-up by a nose that day. He is making his hurdle debut and is the main threat to the top pick. FAKE NEWS (3) is still learning about the jumping caper and will only continue to improve. He meets a fairly modest field and can figure in the top 4. DOROTHY'S DAUGHTER (7) ran on too late on the flat at New Plymouth last week, and has been placed twice already over the hurdles. Stick with her. NIGHTREIGN (4) was a battling fourth on the flat at Woodville 6 days ago, and is another who will continue to improve with more experience. Include in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fierce Flight has a great chance to break through here.
