Pharoah Magic has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. RISING SPHERE (1) had a tough trip in a far stronger field here 3 weeks ago and understandably faded out of contention in the run home. His form prior to that effort was very good, and he can bounce straight back into winning form here. BOLDINHO (2) won his first local start here before finishing a brave fifth in the same race as the top pick when starting as favourite here over 1200m. He gets a superior gate this time and will be among the hardest to beat. Follow your money. PHAROAH MAGIC (3) was swamped late in the same race as the top 2 pick last time out, and he will be suited by dropping back to 1000m for the first time. He was chasing a hat-trick before that and is worth another chance. HELLO WORLD (5) caught the eye with a big late finish against most of these last time out. He can settle a lot closer from a kinder draw this time and is good enough to have the last say. VINNIE'S SPIRIT (6) will find this tougher than his recent assignments, but he is good enough to place. SUGGESTED PLAY: In a very competitive field, Rising Sphere and Boldinho are big winning chances.
