Without much in the way of early speed it might be left to Kneze to take charge. MARENARO (7) switched from a NSW stable and belted the Warwick Maidens by 3.5L first-up, over 1500m. Matched his best figure and draws low again. He can go on with the job. COLD ONE (2) spiked his numbers beaten 3L this trip in a Doomben 70. That stacks right up, and he has a handy 2kg claim and maps well. A player. MALECON (4) rates well enough on his CL3 win here over this distance. Preferred coming back in trip and a 2kg claim remains handy. He also has claims. The former Victorian GUZUMPED (1) is right up to this at best but didn't launch a challenge back to this distance at Ipswich. He will be better for that and deserves consideration.
