Doubt they will go too hard without a noted leader engaged. Liked the run of PRECISE STAR (13) second-up in similar conditions and the same trip. Cherry ripe third up and a wide draw could be more help than hinder. Having that 1400m run under his belt now can prove a big positive. BENDRODT (1) raced well without winning last prep and arrives with two mixed trial efforts under his belt. Resumes with a few stablemates for company but still has strong appeal. POWERHOUSE (14) improved second time out and coped okay with the heavy going there at Kembla. That bodes well and think that 1400m is going to be what he wants at this point. Note they are yet to geld him so hopes remain high. SUGGESTED PLAY: Precise Star to win this one.
