Strong tempo likely with several going forward, headed by Agarwood and Nullarbor Jane. AGARWOOD (4) Wootton Bassett filly resuming after going through undefeated in her first campaign. Ran them ragged in the heavy (9) going when a slick winner over this track and trip last May. Fitted with the two trial wins and will take catching. SAVVY HALLIE (3) has a fitness edge over most of these after demolishing inferior opposition over 900m at Newcastle in a Super Maiden. Proven at this level and will stalk the speed from the wide gate. Genuine chance. QUEEN OF CLUBS (6) progressive Maurice filly resuming. Indicated her ability in her second prep when defeating a handy field in good style over 1400m. Looked to be trucking in her only trial with J Mac aboard. Respect. WITHIN THE LAW (1) tough filly resuming after having a great two-year-old season. Stretched out to the mile last campaign and only has the one trial for this. Will be closing late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Agarwood and Savvy Hallie will prove hard to run down.
