From wide out La Jolla Storm can slide over and set up a genuine tempo. LUCIDO (4) turned in a fine effort to win by 4 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. CARAVAGGISTI (10) is a handy type who resumes after a break of 11 weeks. Only appeared once last prep when he finished eighth over 1400m at Tokyo, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has two wins to his name when fresh from a spell. Expect a bold showing. GOLD STAR (5) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 2.5 lengths into eighth over 1200m at this track. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish. HEART WHIP (14) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a head away in second over 1200m at this track. Hard to leave out.
