LOCKDOWN GAMBLE (2) is always a big chance in this sort of race and he gets a big weight drop on his placing at Dubbo last time out. Drawn to get a good run and is at least a good each-way chance. INDIFFERENCE (1) opened up a big lead at Coffs Harbour over 2000m last start and was only run down in the last few strides. If he finds he lead he could take plenty of catching. DEION (5) is also a front running type and he beat a subsequent Highway winner at Dubbo when leading all the way. Yet to tackle this trip but hard to ignore. SMOOTH ESPRIT (4) has to be included and RAJNISH (3) will be hitting the line strongly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lockdown Gamble each-way.
