Plenty of pace from Boitumelo, Nicholas Adam and Little Spark matching motors ahead of Hell Of A Prince.
LITTLE SPARK (6) was ridden off the pace at Toowoomba last start and really hit the line with purpose, finishing runner-up by just over a length. Bailey Wheeler steps into the irons this time, and she is poised to go one better. GRANDEUR ROSE (5) has a good record here and has found form at the right time with a last start second place finish at the Sunshine Coast 2 weeks ago. She has a tougher gate this time, but is still a sound each-way chance. ANCIENT MISSION (8) resumes from a spell with a recent Gold Coast trial under her belt. Her only win came on this track, and from a good gate, she can figure in the top 3, especially if there is any positive money for her in the markets. SPIRIT OF STORM (4) was third here 3 starts back in early July, and with the right run, she is capable of finishing in the money. SURCOTE (2) will strip fitter after finishing a bold third fresh up at Beaudesert 8 days ago. He carries 2kg less this time, and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Little Spark can take this out. Include 2-4-5-8.
