Meiner Ares is expected to cross from a wide draw and lead. EFFULGENCE (5) finished third over 2000m at Fukushima two back then missed the frame last time out over 2200m at this track. Best form stacks up nicely and deserves another chance. MEINER ARES (10) is a 13-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth after being prominent at the bend at his latest appearance over 1800m at this track. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. MEINER AURUM (15) turned in a solid run when resuming last start over this course and distance, finishing second and beaten only a neck. Should camp just off the leaders. One to consider. MEINER RAFALE (14) showed good speed and gave a sight when fifth over 2000m at this track last time. Should be poised just off the speed despite the draw. Has ability and not to be discounted.
