Abundant pace from Cape Cannery, Off The Charts and Doin' Time vying for the lead with Twocantango on their backs. ROYAL SWORD (3) is one of the best of the programme. He showed good improvement when second over 1200m last time. He is a progressive type, and in this type of field, he can go one better. TWOCANTANGO (7) stayed on when fourth over 1200m at Greyville last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. Stick with him. CHEERSCHEERSCHEERS (10) is an unraced son of Hawwaam from the Mike and Mathew de Kock yard with Callan Murray booked to ride. He is well related, and if not in need of this outing, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regard to his chances. JET BLACKFIRE (8) returns from a 10-week break/suspension. He is fitted with the cheekpieces, and he has plenty of scope. There should be good improvement to come with more racing experience.
