Red Stinger to take charge ahead of Anima Ray at a solid tempo. ANIMA RAY (12) has been in the placings three times from three starts in this maiden campaign, the latest as favourite over 1500m at this track when a neck from the winner. Has a wide gate again but looks the testing material. RED STINGER (7) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found one better over 1500m at this track. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. ROYAL SPIRE (4) has not raced since his debut on June 8 over 1400m at Tokyo when he finished fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Open to improvement and can feature. SUMIKKO DISCO (11) finished second last start over 1200m at Hakodate, beaten 0.8 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. In the right race and is sure to be prominent.
