Strong early tempo with Kastun Star and The Pen Is Mighty leading the way. GIGGENBACH (8) never really looked likely fresh but did make some solid late inroads when it was all over. Better for the run and gets the service of gun hoop in Brown from the favourable draw. Sharp stable. Bold showing anticipated. THE PEN IS MIGHTY (4) made a sound return at Sale when showing good early intent. Boxed on well in the lane and is sure to have come on with that run under his belt. KASTUN STAR (2) is knocking on the door and possesses enough early speed to offset the wide alley. Peaking now and could prove tough to stop if he gets it his own way in front. SUNBURNT COUNTRY (13) showed improvement last start at Echuca and is open to further. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Giggenbach.
