Lack of speed so it is likely they will just hack along. CHANCE WITH WOLVES (3) will be peaking third up and is getting out to a more suitable distance. He is having no luck with his barrier draws, but if he can secure a run just one off the fence, then he becomes a solid each-way chance in this. ABOVE THE SKY (5) has been getting fitter with each run back from a spell, and he has a decent record on this track, which is always an advantage. He cops a wide gate, but is ready now to put his best hoof forward. BAUHAUS (6) was beaten by a wide draw at Rockhampton last start, and will also drop 4.5kg from that run. He is not out of this at some each-way value. GOLD MERCHANT (1) failed to handle the poly track at the Gold Coast just over a fortnight ago, and is worth another chance here.
