Eastside Diamond to take up the running with The Gov and Sumadartson close at hand. Small field but some handy types lining up against each other. THE GOV (1) wasn't disgraced in a much stronger race at Morphettville last start. She's never raced on the dirt but she's got these covered as far as abiity goes. The claim brings her right into contention. She will be hard to beat. JINSOKU (2) is another dropping back sharply in class. If he repeats hois performance when winning two starts ago, he can win again. SUMADARTSON (3) is a big watch first-up. His fresh record is great and his trainer has a great strike rate with horses at this track. OUR SHINING STAR (6) can run well fresh, while EASTSIDE DIAMOND (7) must be an each-way chance again. She's been a revelation since connections started racing her at Port Augusta. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing The Gov to win.
