LA PRINCESSE (2) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing second and beaten 2.5 lengths over 1600m at this track. Big chance based on that effort. GALILEA (1) faced the starter for the first time and finished fifth last start at this track over 1600m, beaten 3.5 lengths. Expected to be very competitive. MOON GRAIL (5) ended up 6 lengths behind the winner in seventh on debut last start over 1200m at Fukushima. Open to plenty of improvement. Expected to be competitive. MALTESE DON (6) turned in a moderate debut over 1800m at Fukushima on July 19 when he was safely held in 13th, 15 lengths from the winner. Open to plenty of improvement. Expected to do more.
