Looks a decent tempo with Ucelle, Herecomesantorini and Silver Glitter leading the charge. HERECOMESANTORINI (2) had a tough trip at the Sunshine Coast a fortnight ago and understandably dropped out in the run home. He benefits from a 3kg claim here, and if he can cross to lead from a wide gate, he could take a lot of pegging back. Stick with him. UCELLE (8) has been battling to see out 1400m in her first 3 starts this prep, and is better off over t200m for now. She has a good gate and is ready to show some worthwhile form. CRAZY EYED FRED (3) is a durable veteran who has not been over-taxed with racing. He peaked on his effort late over a mile last time out, and will appreciate dropping back to 1200m He has winning form around this circuit, and can make amends. Each way value. KOGA NINJA (4) has been thereabouts this prep, and only needs to get it right at the start, to be a top 4 chance in a field like this. Don't risk him. SUGGESTED PLAY: In another even contest, we like Ucelle at good odds.
