JUN VICTOIRE (8) finished second, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt after he was in the firing line on the turn. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FAIR GO (11) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Tokyo Dirt ten weeks ago. A bold showing is anticipated. MEISHO KOBE (2) is yet to break through in six runs but has been thereabouts. Last start was 5.5 lengths away in fourth over 1800m at this track. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the main contenders. BROTHER BEAT (9) turned in another moderate effort last start when 10 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Better than recent efforts suggest.
