OASIS WICKY (8) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 1200m at this track eight months ago and has not raced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Busan trial. Promising type who can measure up again. NICE BUDDY (4) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 1200m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Likely improver with strong prospects. PLUTO (11) ran well below his best last time over 1400m at this track, beaten 12 lengths into ninth at $1.60. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Will give backers a great sight. ROSE DRAGON (2) returns from a spell. Finished second at this track and distance at her only appearance last prep 11 weeks ago. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
