From the inside gate Hakusan Bird has the dash to lead, but Brickwork and Gloria Laus should be right on her heels. SHADOW FURY (8) last appeared when he finished fourth over 1400m in stakes class at Tokyo on June 15. One of the genuine hopes in the race. GLORIA LAUS (3) was in great form at the end of the last campaign with back-to-back wins, the latest over 1400m at Tokyo three months ago. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will give a great sight. GARONNE (4) last appeared when he saluted over 1400m at Kyoto on June 1. Among the better hopes. LABELING (13) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on 14/06/2025, finishing 13th and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1200m in the G3 Hakodate Sprint Stakes. Worth plenty of thought.
