Strong pace from Swissta and Linking matching motors with Tequila Sunset close at hand. A THOUSAND DEGREES (11) is a hardy veteran who has won 11 races, including three at this track and distance. His recent form is patchy but he has run a couple of decent races on the dirt this season. With no weight, he can give a sight and win another one. SHIKANIC (1) was OK in a stronger race at Murray Bridge last start and won here before that. He has good tactical speed and will take some catching. LINKING (2) is better suited back onto the dirt and can run in the money, while INNER SANCTUM (6) is worth some thought for quaddies and wider plays. Has the recent win in the book and stuck on gamely enough last time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing A Thousand Degrees each-way.
