The pace looks very strong with plenty of speed engaged. RUN TO RIO (4) ran a good race when second over 1400m at Greyville last time. He raced from a handy position, moved up well before getting outrun late. He has won once, finished second once, and third once from five starts on this course. Tristan Godden retains the ride, and the combination can go one better. MVELELO (3) cost himself the win last time as he hung in the final 350m. He will strip a much fitter horse today, and from his good draw of three, he will be hard to hold out. RECORD HIGH (9) won a good race over this distance here on the polytrack last time out. He received a weight penalty for that victory. With a bit of luck in running, he should be competitive here as well. Each way. TEATIME TIPPLE (2) ran on strongly when winning his last start over this distance here on the polytrack. He takes on stronger, but is in a good space and should give a good account of himself. Include in all combinations.
