Solid tempo with Via Varallo leading from Socrazyinlove and Dimitrov. DIMITROV (1) adept in all conditions and close to his top. Chipped away late in the heavy going when an even fifth over 1250m at Canterbury. Finds an easier contest from the low draw. Goes close. MAGICAL MOMENTS (6) proven on the provincial circuit and strips fitter after finishing fifth over 1200m here first up. Comes to hand quickly and the tongue tie goes on. Hard to hold out. DIAMOND FROST (9) big improver at start two when finishing over the top of them on the Canberra Acton track on August 8. Will appreciate the extra trip from the good gate. OMNIC (2) kept fresh after resuming with a plugging fifth over 1200m at Gosford. Maps well and suited out to the 1400m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dimitrov looks ready in this weaker contest.
