AWAPUNI SYNTHETIC   24 Aug 2025

GOING:

ANTON'S BAR MARTON 1700m

Track: AW     True

Spinayarn to take charge ahead of Footloose at a solid tempo. UNCLE KEN (5) showed a good turn of foot to get in the final stride and score by a nose here 3 weeks ago. He is still learning and will be even sharper third up. He can secure a good run from a handy gate, and another win is on the cards. BADGERINGDAWITNESS (1) will be dropping back in class after a couple of fair runs on the turf in tougher fields. The key here is the extra 300m, and he is capable of testing the top pick. FOOTLOOSE (2) is a stablemate of the second pick who will have no fitness concerns after having 3 runs back from a spell. The visor blinkers are on, and a form reversal is expected. FLYING CELEBRATION (6) led all the way to score here at her first start on a poly track 3 weeks ago. She cops an extra 3.5kg this time, but should still be very competitive. Stick with her. SPINAYARN (4) is a lightly tried 6-year-old resuming from a spell. He has been tuned up with a recent trial, and his astute stable has to always be respected. Include in all multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Uncle Ken can take the next step, with Badgeringdawitness not far off winning again.
