Small field but expecting a genuine tempo with plenty of pace engaged. ASPENADO (6) should find this an easier assignment after tackling the Roxby Downs Cup last start. She's in well after the claim and her form at this track is hard to fault. She can go forward and give this a mighty be shake. Goes on top. LES VOSGES (4) is suited back on the dirt and he looks a danger. Both of his runs here have been good. He gets Fawke and a good draw which will aid his chances. DYLAN'S LAD (1) was a dominant winner last start and can go back-to-back if things go his way from a middle draw. WILLASTON (7) is worth some thought for wider plays. Battled away okay at Mildura. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Aspenado at the price.
