Pocket Watch, Orange County and Trident King will be ridden positively out of their low gates so the pace will be genuine. PUMPKIN PIE (3) is a promising gelding yet to miss the frame in two starts, including a win. Has not been produced since he scored over 1400m at this track on March 8. Has a high cruising speed. Will give a great sight. CRESCENDO (8) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1400m at Vaal, scoring by a long neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Drawn out a bit but he is a great chance to go back-to-back. WAR REPORTER (11) comes here following a win over 1600m at Vaal seven-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.75 lengths. Should run very well. ALADDIN'S LAMP (9) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2200m at Kenilworth, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth. No surprise to see him in the frame.
