ALMA DE ORO (11) showed early speed from a good draw last time and battled on to finish fourth, beaten 0.6 lengths, over 2400m at Tokyo. Going well this prep and is sure to give a great sight. POTECHI (1) was in contention all the way and fought on for second last start over 2000m at Kyoto, making it two minor placings in a row. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. TROIS VALLEES (3) returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 2000m at Kyoto. Worth plenty of thought. SATONO SOTIRAS (7) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 2200m at Kyoto, beaten 2 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run.
